Dasna Jail Visit

The visit to the District Jail (Dasna Jail) for law students by IPEM Law Academy on Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 3, 2024 was aimed at providing the students with an insight into the prison administration and the conditions faced by the prisoners. Accompanied by Deputy Jailor Shri Arvind Singh Chauhan and IPS Shri Sita Ram Sharma, the students observed various rehabilitation programmes run by NGOs including vocational training and legal aid services. This experiential learning opportunity was aimed at enhancing the students’ understanding of the criminal justice system and the importance of prisoner rehabilitation.
