Free Legal Aid Clinic and Awareness Camp

IPEM Law Academy organized a Free Legal Aid and Awareness Camp on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Mirzapur village under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. The camp aimed to provide legal assistance to the local community on issues related to family disputes, property matters, criminal cases, and domestic violence. Legal experts, along with students from BA.LL.B, B.Com.LL.B, and LL.B programs, actively participated. This initiative reflects IPEM Law Academy’s commitment to promoting legal awareness and ensuring access to justice, especially for marginalized communities. The camp was jointly organized with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ghaziabad, and the IPEM Alumni Association. Advocates Siddharth Tiwari and Ajay Kumar from DLSA offered free legal consultation. Dr. Yogesh Gupta honored the guests with mementos and shawls. The event was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta, HOD Dr. Purnima Chaudhary & local councillor Faheem Chaudhary, with enthusiastic support from the students. Among the students, Ibrahim, Arif, Benazir Raju Khan, Tusar, Ritika, Shivani, Yas, Kashish, Danish Om etc. actively cooperated in the successful conduct of the camp.

The primary objective of the Free Legal Aid and Awareness Camp organized by IPEM Law Academy at Mirzapur village under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan was to extend free legal assistance and promote legal literacy among rural citizens. The initiative aimed to educate villagers about their legal rights and remedies concerning family disputes, property issues, domestic violence, and criminal matters. It also sought to bridge the gap between legal institutions and marginalized communities, ensuring access to justice for all. Additionally, the camp provided law students with valuable practical exposure, enhancing their understanding of real-world legal challenges and community engagement.
