UNITED NATIONS INFORMATION CENTRE NEW DELHI visit

IPEM Law Academy organized a visit to UNITED NATIONS INFORMATION CENTRE NEW DELHI  on 8th march, 2019 of B.A.LL.B. Students of 2nd sem.  Through this visit students got exposure to know about the working of United Nations, working of UN in India. There was a session on Gender Equality, Peacekeeping, and Human Rights too. The students also got to know about the members of UN and formation of League of Nations. There was also a short session on the digital library which was very useful for the students. Ms. Sanchi Chaturvedi (Public Information Centre) briefed about the social media. There was also a short video message by the Secretary-General of UN Antonio Guterres on the occasion of International Women Day. Ms. Vaishali Bhardwaj (Student) proposed a vote of thanks to the Institute and the members of UNIC who arranged the visit. The members of UNIC also provided the free literature to our students which included the UN Charter. Number of participants: Law Students
