Webinar & Alumni Guest Lecture on Human Rights Defenders: Courageous Voices for Change

Participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by human rights defenders and the importance of their work. Post-event surveys show increased knowledge and awareness among participants about human rights defenders and their roles. The alumni or guest speakers who are human rights advocates shared their experiences and stories, which inspired the participants—positive feedback from participants expressing inspiration and motivation to engage in human rights advocacy.

To educate participants about the role and challenges faced by human rights defenders, raising awareness about their work and the importance of protecting human rights. To inspire participants by showcasing the stories and experiences of alumni or guest speakers who are human rights defenders. To facilitate networking and engagement among alumni and current students interested in human rights issues. To encourage participants to become advocates for human rights and take action supporting human rights defenders.
