It is my firm conviction that there are, in the contemporary world, challenges, socio-economic and political, which, if the legal system cannot meet them, will destroy it. These challenges are not the creation of lawyers; nor can they be suppressed by them. They have to be met either by discarding or by adjusting our legal system. I believe that our legal education should address contemporary challenges effectively so as to adjust to the systemic needs. It is this quest, by way of excellence that we should seek to achieve in the field of legal education. 

In any given society, the law plays a vital role in regulating the affairs of the state including those of the corporate and business management. The integration of law in the field of economics and business management was not rightly realized till the dawn of economic liberalization in the beginning of 90s. Of late, some thoughts have been given to improve the standard of legal education and its integration with the requirements of the economic and corporate world. In our country, we have immense talent among the youth and all that is required is to guide and bring out the best in them.  

IPEM, Ghaziabad established more than 25 years ago in year 1996 with “LAKSH” as its ultimate aim for both its students and faculty members, where ones future comes first, the IPEM Law Academy of Institute of Professional Excellence & Management affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University and approved by Bar Council of India is a constituent of Laksh Educational Society with strengths to imbibe high values in its students through both LL.B. 3 years and B.A., LL.B. 5 years courses. I hope and wish both IPEM as an Institution and its students, a great success in years to come as I have opportunities to see both from inside being a Law Advisory Committee member for the last many years.
